Life changed as people knew it throughout the 1950’s. In New Brunswick, increased population, and therefore increased enrollment in both rural and regional schools, led to more classrooms, more teachers, and the construction of additional schools. It is our belief that due to the increasing number of schools and qualified teachers, more attention was put on the curriculum, and how it could be improved in relation to the ever changing world.
