Hypothesis: The 1950’s was a decade of growth for the New Brunswick Educational system. The growth that occurred within the educational system was related to the increase in population. This increase in population reflected an educational enrolment increase within rural and regional schools, faculty expansion, and the development of school buildings. Combined with the population and enrolment increase the Department of Education adopted an increased focus of the educational system curriculum to reflect the social growth in New Brunswick.
