Thesis: How did the status of women change during the Byzantine Era and what contributions did Byzantine women make to modern feminism?
Throughout the Byzantine Era, significant advances were made in regards to the importance of women’s rights and freedoms in Ancient Roman society. This research will help to identify the events and people which contributed to the changes in women’s social, economic, and political status during the Byzantine empires. By identifying the experiences of Byzantine women we can connect the progresses made in women’s rights today.
