Hypothesis: At this point in Canadian History, Canada fell under the shadow of the British Empire. It is our belief that this along with the War played a large role on the influences on New Brunswick Education regarding History, Geography and Society. Over the course of the past one hundred years, our perception and understanding of social studies and global issues has changed significantly in regards to Canada’s altering position on the Worlds stage. We believe that this do with different implications of the First World War such as gender roles, community needs, schooling, industrialization, and everlasting effects from the First World War.
